Thanks to all who attended this very important day…

What a great day had at Forrest on Sunday.

Thank you all for making this day the success it was in support of the Forrest Community.  It was very pleasing to see so many people come along to discuss the things that are important for them in relation to the possible community uses of the three DELWP depot sites.  In the next workshop the Forrest Community will have the opportunity to fine tune ideas discussed on Sunday and work through a range of potential transition processes.

A big thank you to the Forrest and Districts Lions Club for providing (so much) great food, awesome indeed and also thank you to the Forrest Community Group for getting behind their Community and ensuring this engagement process is meaningful and creative in reaching an outcome that is supported and owned by the Forrest Community – its like reading an action novel as its being written, very suspenseful and nonetheless exciting.

I have already received feedback from a number of Forrest locals and look forward to receiving even more, I will endeavour to apply your suggestions to make improvements for the next event on the 18th June.

On behalf of the team, thank you all again, and please pass this message onto others across Forrest.

We look forward to catching up with you between now and the next workshop.

Regards, George
