The Forrest & District Neighbourhood House is a not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of the community of Forrest and district by providing local learning opportunities, advocacy, access to information and services, social activities and connectedness in a welcoming and accessible environment.
We are located at the Forrest Public Hall. Come and drop in during our open hours, or join us for c for a nutritious vegetarian meal and good conversation during community lunch on Thursdays ($6 per person):
- 8:30am – 1:00pm on Tuesdays
- 8:30am – 2:30pm on Wednesdays
- 8:30am – 3:30pm on Thursdays – including community lunch from 12:30pm
We deliver 40 hours of activity and programs, and our focus is on strengthening community connectedness, health and wellbeing, nutrition and food security, history and culture, and environment and sustainability.
