What does a community plan look like? What do we need to stay safe before, during and after an emergency? What can we do to be better prepared and connected? These things and more will be discussed and the results will form the basis of our plan. This is a community led project with local volunteers experienced in workshop design and delivery bringing their skills to the table so you can have your say in our community planning process. We will also have experts from the emergency services on hand to help with advice about their roles, share knowledge and learn from us. This is YOUR community in action! All ages welcome and light refreshments supplied. Please register to help us with workshop setup, child minding and catering.
PS We know it is on the same day as the Amy Gillett Gran Fondo bike race through Forrest and Barwon Downs but we have timed it in the afternoon so the roads will be open.
