Forrest Wastewater Investigation Community Open House 
Barwon Water will host a community open house on the Forrest wastewater project to update community on the project and how we can be involved. Have a chat, ask a question or complete a survey. Please be advised the Wastewater Investigation Community Information Session scheduled for tomorrow night (TUESDAY 14 NOVEMBER) is postponed to 7 December 4pm-7pm. More information will be provided closer to the date.

Young people of Forrest come for a Tournament Party style games night with a Mexican feast, hosted by Byron and Renee. More details to follow.
Historical Society Event – Fresh Meat Twice Weekly – Monday 20 Nov 10:30am @ the Hall
How did our community get fresh meat regularly without refrigeration or motor cars? Hear the full story first hand from former Barwon butcher Cindy Maguire. Members are also requested to help with identifying people in the photo archives, so please come along.10:30am coffee and tea, meet and chat. 11am Cindy’s recollections of early meat supply. 11:45am Inspection of the DELWP site for the new History Centre. 12:30pm Lunch at any place of your choice. 2pm Working bee on the archives to help identify people. Boomerang Bags – with a Christmas Twist – Sunday 26 Nov, 1pm – 4:30pm @ the Hall
Boomerang Bags are taking off and you will see them in shops in Forrest, Birregurra, Colac and throughout Melbourne. Boomerang Bags are contributing to eliminating the plastic bag and your help is needed to keep the supply of bags going – come along on Sunday afternoon in partnership with Birregurra CWA to sew, iron, cut, decorate, screen print, and chat. COME AND MAKE A CHRISTMAS PRESENT as well as contributing to the public supply for Forrest.
