Investment Development Consultant one day per week, for 2.5 months, starting immediately.
“Forrest Gateway to the Otways: Collaborative Research and Interactive Learning Facility and Place of Refuge” is a long-term strategy of the Forrest and District Community, bringing a community-led approach to adapting to climate change. The Gateway Project is funded by the Victorian State Government’s Virtual Centre for Climate Change Innovation Grants 2018 (VCCCI) via the Department of Environment, Water Land and Planning (DELWP).
The project has undertaken feasibility studies to develop the business model for a collaborative research and interactive learning facility that also provides a bushfire place of last resort. This project and the site aims to be a model for community-led climate change adaptation across the region and Victoria.
The Investment Development Consultant will draw on the feasibility studies and documented consultations with the community and partner agencies to develop an Investment Logic Map and a prospectus for the Gateway Project. Additionally, the Consultant will advise on activities required to engage potential investors, including government as well as philanthropic organisations.
