Dear Forrest & District community
You are invited to contribute to the draft Forrest & District Plan (the Plan). This document is being prepared by the community, for the community, to address future priorities for the next 10 years.
There are 3 documents open for community input from 1st – 15th of June 2020:
1. Preliminary Draft of the Forrest & District Plan (Part 1 and Part 2) – for your input/comments
2. Historical Timeline for the Plan- to contribute your knowledge to
3. Community Infrastructure projects – to suggest new ideas, or changes to current infrastructure
If you don’t have time to read the Plan, that’s ok. Please add your thoughts to the Community Infrastructure section, as this will be used by Colac Otway Shire to show community preferences. We’d also like you to add what you know about Forrest’s history. Please forward comments to forrestgatewayproject@gmail.com
Later in the month, we’ll have a Q&A session regarding Community Infrastructure, the Plan, and to answer any queries that you may have.
